"Goods" or "Products": Refers to coconut shell charcoal briquettes, rice husk integrated products, and any other sustainable energy solutions manufactured or supplied by us.

3. Commercial Inquiries and B2B Transactions

Quotations: Any price quotes, production capacity estimations, or logistics timelines provided through our website, email ([email protected]), or WhatsApp (+94 76 664 4969) are for informational purposes and do not constitute a legally binding contract until a formal Proforma Invoice (PI) or Sales Contract is mutually signed.

Product Specifications: While we maintain strict quality control, our products are derived from natural agricultural materials (coconut shells and rice husks). Minor variances in appearance or dimensions that do not affect the burning performance or certified technical specifications are standard in international trade.

4. International Shipping, Logistics, and Maritime Compliance

Port of Dispatch: Unless explicitly agreed otherwise in writing, all global wholesale shipments are dispatched from the Port of Colombo, Sri Lanka.

Incoterms: International transactions through J&C Coals are executed under standard ICC Incoterms (typically FOB Colombo or CIF destination port), which will be explicitly detailed in your commercial sales contract.

Regulatory Responsibility: We ensure all goods departing our production facilities are fully compliant with maritime safety regulations, including providing valid Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and self-heating risk declarations required for ocean freight handling.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, J&C Coals will not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (including, without limitation, damages for loss of business profit, operational business interruption, or loss of business information) arising out of the use or inability to use this website, or delays caused by third-party maritime shipping lines or customs clearance processes at the destination port.

6. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions, alongside any commercial trade disputes resulting from the initial use of this website, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Sri Lanka, and any legal actions will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of its competent courts.

7. Revisions and Modifications

J&C Coals reserves the right to revise, edit, or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. By continuing to use this website after changes are posted, you agree to be bound by the updated version of these terms.
